Pull tightly to draw seam together to help round out the bottom of the kitty head. Leave long enough tail to seam up head after stuffing.
Embroider eyes and nose on each face, stuff and seam. Weave in all ends.
To make ears on kitty head more pronounced, use the same color yarn as the head (white) and thread a short piece of yarn on needle. Knot one end and pull needle through from side of head to top of head to create a point for the ear. Pull tightly and knot.
Attach heads to headband, placing them where they would cover ears.
This is so cute. I will have to make some for my girls. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThank God! I was so worried when I saw you still needed to sew kitty heads to headbands. If I liked cats, I might have called the ASPCA or something.
ReplyDeleteThey are really cute. Awesome job!
OMG, those are SO cute! I wish our friends/family had more little girls so I could knit fun stuff like this :-)
ReplyDeleteHello I am a first time visitor, but I just had to comment! These are just adorable! I am the opposite, I can crochet like nobody's business but I am trying (so hard) to learn to knit.
